SS Imo

SS Imo aground on the Dartmouth side of the harbour after the Halifax explosion of December 6th 1917, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which happened when SS Mont-Blanc , a French cargo ship laden with high explosives, collided with the Norwegian vessel SS Imo in the Narrows, a strait connecting the upper Halifax Harbour to Bedford Basin.

All my posts today will be about the Halifax explosion.
