Plum Flummery.

A dish very popular through the Georgian era in Britain. I was able to locate a recipe and a image of the dish luckily.

Plum Flummery

Ingredients of Plum Flummery:

  • 2 cups plums, pitted and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon water (optional)
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
