Another shot from the 1920s show how women had changed many women (not all) broke away from tradition maybe the first world war had created a feeling within them many women had to take on male roles while the men fought on the front line and then when they returned they had to return to their female role many were frustrated and maybe this is why in the 1920s women revolted in many ways it was the age of the Flapper and like these three ladies they drank and smoked all in public something their mothers would never had considered doing.
